Mapping an HIV-Free Future
ViiV Healthcare is a company 100% committed to HIV, and as such, we are always looking to move beyond the status quo and find new ways to tackle the challenges of the HIV epidemic.
While tremendous progress has been made over the past 30 years, HIV remains a major public threat and much more needs to be done to improve the care and management of the disease. We want to build on our heritage and expertise, and go beyond the delivery of pharmaceutical solutions by supporting efforts that improve the care and control of the epidemic, and help us to map a future free of HIV.
Implementation Science is a multidisciplinary specialty that seeks generalisable knowledge about the behaviour of stakeholders, organisations, communities and individuals, in order to understand the scale of, reasons for and strategies to close the gap between evidence and routine practice for help in real world contexts.
We take a diverse and collaborative approach in our efforts to help meet the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals by looking to determine the right intervention for the right context in HIV care. Our range of initiatives aim to address gaps in the patient care continuum with the goal to ensure PLHIV all over the world are optimally diagnosed, retained and fully engaged in care.
